What Is A GPT Site?
A GPT site is simply a place that pays someone for completing free offers and surveys. Paid offers payout more but I think free is better unless there is something that I am truly interested in for a trial offer I’ll go with it.
Will I Get Rich?
No, of course not silly. You cannot get rich from these. These are just a way to earn extra cash. I will not lie, there are a few out there who earn a part time income as much as $1,200 per month.
Do They Cost Anything To Join?
GPT sites will never ask for any money from you. They do not cost anything to participate in. If a GPT site asks for money by all means stay away from them.
What About Taxes?
By law if you are earning over $600 per year on these sites you will be required to pay taxes. As a general rule it’s best to put aside 34% of you earnings each month. Example if your earning $200 per month you will need to tax $200 and multiply it by .34 which is $68. So $68 is what I would set aside for taxes each month. It’s also best to scan each check for proof of payment. If you don’t want to pay tax don’t earn more than $600. GPT sites ask you for a W-9 form if you earn more than $600.
